| The Alachua County Council of PTAs and the School
Board of Alachua County are holding their 5th
School/Community Conference on Saturday, February 10,
2001. "Connecting Community and Classrooms" is the
theme for this event that will take place from 8:00
a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Kanapaha Middle School, 5005
SW 75 Street, Gainesville, FL. The conference will feature a series of workshops designed to interest teachers, parents, and the community, in addition to exhibits displayed by education and technology related vendors. There are still spots available for exhibits. Interested parties should contact ACCPTA President Connie Brower at cjbrower@juno.com or (352) 332-2836 by Monday, February 5th, to reserve a table and be included in the printed exhibitor list. |
